H$G Steps

Make a beat in 4 steps

1. Hit ▶ Play (or press Space). The starter beat is already there.
2. Click squares to turn sounds on or off. Each row is a sound, each column is a beat slice of time.
3. Chop it: open ✂ Chopper, load a loop or song (or use the demo loop), pick 8 or Find hits, then paint slice numbers onto the Chop row.
4. Hit ⬇ Export for WAV, MP3 or stems. Save keeps your whole session (with your samples) as a .hsg file.

Keys

Space play / stop · 1–8 pick a pattern · S song / pattern mode · Esc close panels. Drop an audio file on a row to load it as that sound, or drop a .hsg file anywhere to open it.

In the chopper: Move drags markers, Add drops a marker where you tap, Delete removes the marker you tap.
